You'll never tire of touring this delightful area, with its rolling countryside, magnificent views, coves and harbours; it makes for a fantastic Devon holiday. Brixham Harbour is within walking distance with its ever-changing scene of graceful yachts, deep-sea trawlers and busy local fish market.
Children can try their hand at crabbing in the many rock pools, also visit the Berry Head Country Park with its Napoleonic Fort. There is much to see in Brixham and the rest of beautiful Devon.
Torbay which incorporates Brixham, Paignton and Torquay offers you a wonderful selection of various entertainments. You can visit the famous ‘Model Village' at Babbacombe, enjoy a nostalgic trip through coastal and woodland scenery on the spectacular "Dart Valley Steam Railway" or enjoy a day at the zoo.
You can even take a sea trip up the river Dart or across the bay to Torquay and a short drive away is the rugged grandeur of Dartmoor.
Buckfastleigh Butterfly Farm

The Butterfly Farm and Otter Sanctuary is situated just outside the southern border of Dartmoor National Park between Exeter and Plymouth and is easily reached just off the A38 Devon Expressway at the Dart Bridge junction.
